EENOVANCE Residential Battery Certified by UL Solutions for UL 1973 Compliance
On March 21, 2024, UL Solutions, a globally recognized safety certification body, awarded the UL certification to EENOVANCE’s self-developed residential energy storage battery, MANA 5.12 Ultra. The certification ceremony was attended by Wu Dawei, Vice President of UL Solutions and General Manager for Mainland China and Hong Kong, along with Xu Pengfei, R&D Director of EENOVANCE, and other representatives from both organizations.
UL1973 is a key safety and reliability certification for energy storage systems in North America, covering battery modules, battery management systems (BMS), and thermal runaway protection. Known for its rigorous standards, this certification ensures safe operation under extreme conditions and is regarded as a benchmark of technical strength and quality control. Achieving UL certification for MANA 5.12 Ultra not only confirms its compliance with North American market requirements for high-performance energy storage but also demonstrates EENOVANCE’s ability to meet world-class technological standards.
MANA 5.12 Ultra features industry-leading lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery cells and an advanced structural design for efficient heat dissipation and easy installation. Its robust electrical safety system, combined with a self-developed high-precision intelligent BMS, provides multi-layered protection. The IP65-rated enclosure and -20°C self-heating startup capability ensure stable operation in a wide temperature range from -20°C to 55°C. Additionally, it supports up to 15 units in parallel expansion and remote intelligent operation, offering a highly flexible and reliable energy storage solution for global users.
